ABOUT ME

I have been a resident of Plantation key since 1977.  Both of my daughters live on Plantation key, as well as, my grandson and two great granddaughters!  We are four generations of an Islamorada hard working family.

I have been a business owner for a construction company starting in 1977. In 1990, I went to work for the County as their Sr. Inspector and eventually became the County's Building Official.

In 2000, I came to work for the Village of Islamorada as the Building Official and Head of Code Enforcement.  In 2005, I retired from government work to start my Consulting Company and Property Management Company.  These endeavors have evolved into my residential construction company and as well as my Consulting Business

 

I have worked on both sides of the "counter" and understand what life is like as a local government worker, as well as, a local business owner. 

 

In the community, I serve on, or have served on, many boards during my time in Islamorada.  I currently serve on the Mariners Council, the Contractors Examining Board and the County Board of Adjustment and Appeals as well as the Upper Key Rotary Board. I am also proud to be the incoming President of the Key Largo Rotary Club.

 

 I have also recently resigned from the board of the History and Discovery Center so I could run for Council.  I am active in the community and I love this community.
